I live on Balcombe Road close to the railway station. It gets very busy with traffic in the morning – how do you think I can reserve a spot for the moving truck?
Our removalists will always try to park as close to your property as possible. If you don’t have a driveway or designated parking on the street, try parking your car the night before the move in a spot close-by. If you have a large truck coming – 8 tonne (40 m3) or bigger – you may need to park two cars, depending on the size of the parking bays. Try and avoid parking spots with overhanging branches as these can obstruct the truck. Placing witches hats or a couple of bins usually work a treat as well.
I bought a sofa set on Warrigal Road. The shop offered to deliver for me, but I’m a bit worried about COVID measures and letting delivery guys into my house. If I used your company, what COVID safety precautions do you have in place?
We take COVID safety very seriously at TOP REMOVALS – the safety of our staff and customers is paramount. We have been an essential service since COVID started, and have continued to evolve and improve our standard practice. As per government guidelines, our removalists carry disposable masks, gloves, disinfectant solutions and wipes. We also disinfect the vehicles at the depot each morning. Staff members – including office and warehouse workers as well as removalists – have their temperature monitored every morning using an infrared thermometer that does not require skin contact. We have also provided training in good hand hygiene and the use of disinfectants.
